Adam Kelly is a guitarist from the surrounding suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He started playing guitar at 13 after growing up enamored by music thanks to his father’s guitar playing and record collection, and quickly joined his first band at 14. After getting to play with his favorite band onstage at 17 and teaching professionally at 18, he became obsessed with recording and performing, immersing himself in the local music scene where he would play guitar in various bands throughout his teens and early 20s. 

In 2017, he started the Blackacre Doe YouTube channel, where he became known for his covers, lessons, and unsettling masks.

Adam joined the band ALTARBOY in 2025 —  Emerging from Philadelphia's vibrant punk scene , the group quickly carved a niche with their infectious energy and horror-inspired lyrics. Drawing inspiration from iconic bands such as Green Day, Alkaline Trio, and Blink-182, ALTARBOY blends catchy melodies with raw, authentic punk ethos, creating a sound that resonates with both nostalgic listeners and a new generation of fans.

Since their inception, Altarboy has gained significant traction, amassing over 17,000 streams on their standout track "Scream Queen".
