“Pig Hog Cables really puts out the only cables you need as a working musician. These things are basically indestructible and keep delivering show after show. I’ve had the tour grade basic black rubber, and the thickness of these cables feels high-quality right out of the box. The inputs are gold plated, and the right angles for guitar are awesome. Once you plug your microphone and guitar in, and you hear the clarity of the sound, you’re hooked. One of the coolest things about Pig Hog Cables that I like is the color options of the cables. It’s sort of like once you have one or two, you need to get the rest so you have all of the colors! Overall, if I’m plugging in to a house system or using my own P.A., I’m plugging in with Pig Hog Cables because I know the sound quality is the best, and that’s exactly what I need for my audiences.”
Whether Chris is playing on the road or performing live in Nashville, he depends on the best gear possible to get his music to his fans. Chris chooses Pig Hog Cables to bring his vocals and guitar to the forefront of all of his performances. Pig Hog provides durable, visually appealing cables for Chris’ microphone and instrument needs. Chris began experimenting with Pig Hog Cables by trying out the tour grade black instrument and microphone cables, and now uses the “Armor Clad” guitar cable, “Tahitian Blue” instrument cable, and “Black and Blue” woven microphone cable. A few of the features he really enjoys are the right-angle input connections for his guitar, Pig Hog color choices, and the overall durability of the cables. His black tour grade cables have been put to use in all sorts of playing environments over the past two years and have held up under the most rigorous uses in many different performance settings. They not only still look new, but continue to put out the most balanced, clear, and high quality sound that Chris relies on during his performances.
Chris is a proud player and endorser of Pig Hog Cables, and is happy to be a part of the Pig Hog Cables Family and an Official Artist in 2021.
Chris Monhollen has been a regular headliner in Nashville Tennessee for a number of years now. He plays solo acoustic performances, full band shows, and duo and trio work in and around the southeastern region of the United States. Chris grew up with the great country music of the late 80’s and early-to-mid 90’s. These are the sounds that have shaped his repertoire and have helped him become one of Nashville’s favorite live performers.
While specializing in country music, he is not afraid to cross genres and incorporate different artists and works outside of the country music scene into his shows. Chris also loves to travel and his music has taken him from New England to Florida, and from Nashville out to the Midwest to include Arizona, Kansas, and Missouri.
