“My relationship with Pig Hog started back in 2023 — I was getting ready to head out for a five-show run and needed a new XLR for my vocal mic. I was tired of replacing cables that couldn’t keep up, so I started researching better options online and that search led me to Pig Hog.
I picked up my first Pig Hog XLR, and I still have that same cable on my Shure Beta 58A today. From there, I started adding their 1/4-inch instrument cables to my setup, and Pig Hog has been with me ever since through rehearsals, recording sessions, live shows, and touring.
Now, years later, having the opportunity to officially join the Pig Hog artist family feels like everything has come full circle. I was a customer and believed in the gear long before there was ever a partnership, which makes this mean even more to me. I’m truly honored to be part of the Pig Hog family, proud to represent a company I already trusted, and excited to share that experience with other musicians. Thank you, Pig Hog!”

Bryan Darby, professionally known as Darby Sinister, is a vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, recording artist, producer and live performer whose career has developed across years of bands, releases, collaborations, and performances. His work has crossed multiple genres of heavy and alternative music, allowing him to build an identity shaped as much by melody and emotion as by aggression and experimentation.
Throughout his career, Darby has contributed to projects including Engineering the Enemy, No Silence, Prey 4 Reign, and Abel III, while continuing to develop his own work as Darby Sinister. Across those projects, he has been part of music and video releases reaching hundreds of thousands of streams — over one million views and climbing. He’s built a body of work that reflects years spent both in the studio and onstage.
That experience is now feeding into his next chapter. Darby is currently developing Dead Set and XTERNA, two projects that explore different sides of his musical identity. Dead Set leans into a more progressive, melodic, and atmospheric direction, while XTERNA brings together progressive metalcore, alternative, rap-rock influences, and electronic elements into something heavier and more experimental.
Regardless of the project, Darby’s approach remains rooted in creating music that feels honest, emotional, and built to connect with people. Whether he’s behind a microphone, performing with a full band, or picking up an acoustic guitar, the focus remains the same — creating something real as he continues to evolve as an artist.
With new music, visual content, live performances, and touring ahead, Darby Sinister is bringing the experience of his past projects into a new era — one built around growth, collaboration, and pushing his music further than it has gone before.
