Throughout his 21-year career Jermone has performed with notable artists such as: Ashford and Simpson, Marcus Miller, Tom Browne, Rick Braun, Heatwave, Evelyn Champange King, Mary Jane Girls, and Dazz Band. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2017, he has become a solid sideman for an array of notable Smooth Jazz Artists including: Michael Lington, Eric Darius, Jonathan Butler, Darryl Williams, Althea Renee, Ilya Serov, Paul Taylor, and Kylie Cantrall. He performed at the BNI Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia with Brian Simpson.Jermone is originally from Williamsburg, VA & began playing music at an early age with his father and twin brother in church. He was formally introduced to music during his middle school years, which continued throughout his undergraduate studies at Shaw University. He received a full music scholarship and played the sousaphone and tuba in the marching & concert bands. Additionally he played the bass guitar in the jazz ensemble. Funk and soul music is a major influence in his sound. Jermone is known for his ability to play in the pocket, while still tastefully incorporating his finesse and style during performances.
