In 2011, Philip H. Anselmo, former frontman for Pantera, and still active vocalist for Down, Superjoint, among others, wanted to create something different and on his own path. Thus for he created his solo band, Philip H. Anselmo and the Illegals. The band released their debut album, "Walk thru Exits" in 2013. After a few tours and line up changes, earlier this year, Philip and crew released the follow up with their second album, "Choosing Mental Illness as a Virtue". The band today are a very tight cohesive unit and are currently touring the world.
