Robert Cardenas, born December 22, 1967 is a veteran of the extreme metal scene performing internationally since the 1990s. Robert is best known as the powerhouse bassist for death metal pioneers Possessed. 

Having earned a reputation as a formidable anchor in the metal underworld through his work with acts like Agent Steel, Malice, and Coffin Texts, Cardenas officially joined Possessed in 2012, bringing immense precision and bone-crushing low-end thunder to the band’s historic legacy. After lending his bass work and songwriting talents to the critically acclaimed 2019 release Revelations of Oblivion, Cardenas continues to be a driving creative force in the lineup as Possessed prepares to unleash their highly anticipated new studio album in 2027.
