“These are going to be hard to break!”
Born in 2015 in Southern California, Ryder B’s musical journey began remarkably early. At just two years old, he captivated his parents by drumming out The Stooges' "No Fun" on his highchair. Recognizing his prodigious talent, they quickly set up a drum kit in his bedroom, and within weeks, Ryder was playing recognizable versions of countless songs.
Shortly after his third birthday, Ryder became the youngest student ever accepted into Guitar Center’s lessons program, a distinction typically reserved for six-year-olds. His early years were marked by an insatiable appetite for rock 'n' roll, amassing a personal Spotify playlist of over 1,200 songs by the age of three.
By six, Ryder's drumming prowess had reached extraordinary levels, leading to the formation of his band, Ryder B and the Masters. They made their debut at the iconic Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip on his seventh birthday, November 18, 2021.
A day before turning eight, Ryder demonstrated his perfect pitch by tuning a guitar by ear without knowing a single chord. Over the following year, he taught himself to play the guitar, culminating in a standout performance at the Whisky a Go Go, where he played both guitar and drums across eight songs.
Ryder’s talent has not gone unnoticed. Videos of his performances have gone viral, earning reposts from SLASH, acclaim from Spotify as a “legend in the making,” and recognition from many of his musical heroes. Proudly on the Pig Hog cable roster, Ryder B continues to astonish and inspire with his incredible musical abilities.
